On the morning of March 2, the X8151 China-Europe Railway Express freight train departed from Xi’an International Port Station carrying automotive components, specialty light industrial products, and new energy materials. The train headed west toward Duisburg, Germany, marking that China-Europe Railway Express (Xi’an) exceeded 1,000 train operations in 2026. The milestone was achieved 19 days earlier than in 2025, with train operations increasing by more than 30% year on year.
China-Europe Railway Express (Xi’an) currently operates 18 regular international routes, providing comprehensive coverage of major freight origins across Eurasia. The network connects key European logistics hubs including Duisburg, Prague, and Budapest, with the fastest transit time reaching Europe in approximately 10 days and 23 hours.
In terms of domestic cargo collection, 26 feeder routes have been established, connecting major cargo regions such as the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and central and western China. An integrated logistics network featuring "domestic cargo consolidation and global distribution" continues to improve, strengthening Xi’an’s role as a major inland international logistics hub.
