Zhengzhou Launches First China-Russia Export Express Rail Freight Service

Published: March 10, 2026

On March 10, a China-Russia export express rail freight train departed from the China-Europe Railway Express (Zhengzhou) assembly center at Zhengzhou International Land Port, carrying automotive KD parts and other cargo. The train will exit China through the Horgos border port before arriving in Moscow, Russia.

The train has a total cargo weight of 1,125 tons. It marks the first China-Russia export express rail service launched by Zhengzhou International Land Port following the regular operation of ASEAN rail services. It is also the first export train operated after the customs-supervised operation site in the core area of the China-Europe Railway Express (Zhengzhou) assembly center passed inspection and approval.

The launch of this service represents an important step forward in expanding Zhengzhou’s international rail logistics network and enhancing its role as an inland logistics hub. The new route provides businesses with a more efficient and reliable transportation option for accessing the Russian market and supports the development of cross-border supply chains between China and Russia.
